MIT > MITIQ Home > RS4IQ The process named Rosetta Stone for Information Quality (RS4IQ) is an effort initially undertaken by the MIT IQ Program. Its purpose is to develop a common understanding for terminology related to the concepts and characteristics of Information Quality. One of the crucial factors impacting information quality within organizations is the lack of common understanding for key terms and facts. As leaders addressing information quality within organizations, we know the value associated with developing that common understanding. As a result, the Information Quality Community has decided to develop consensus definitions and descriptions for key IQ terms. The current process will begin with an initial list of terms for which English definitions will be developed. For each English term, there will be an appropriate term developed in various languages. For each description there will also be an appropriate translation within each country. For questions, please contact RS4IQ at rs4iq-request@mit.edu |
