By Subway

The T has four lines: the Red Line, the Blue Line, the Orange Line, and the Green Line. To get to Sloan, take the Red Line Alewife direction to Kendall Square. Once above ground (you'll be on Main Street), head for the nearby Fleet Bank on the corner of Wadsworth Street. Walk half a block down Wadsworth toward the river, then cross the street to a wide flight of stone steps &mdash the Sloan Plaza. The Hermann Building (which houses the Sloan library and faculty offices; also known as E53) is straight ahead, and the main Sloan building (E52) is on your right.

From the airport, take the free shuttle bus from your terminal to the Airport T station, which is on the Blue Line. Take an Inbound train to Government Center. Walk up one flight of stairs to the Green Line and take a Westbound trolley one stop to Park Street. Walk down one flight to the Red Line and take an Alewife train to Kendall (the second stop). During rush hours the entire trip could take about 30 minutes. During off-hours it could take an hour.

The fare on T trains and trolleys is $1.00, with free transfers between lines. On buses, the fare is $1.00.
